The Department of Justice Division of Forensic Science is soliciting bids from qualified suppliers to purchase two Comparison Microscopes to be used in Crime labs forensic science unit to analyze side-by-side microscopic specimen patterns to determine commonality. The Division of Forensic Science will be using the Comparison Microscopes for a broad range of forensic evidence collection and analyses to include but not limited to firearms and toolmark examinations.
