Project: CVM Equine Hospital, NC State Project # 202120007 Description: This project constructs a new 49,300 GSF Equine Hospital Addition to the CVM Main Building, a new 17,400 GSF Arena and Field Services pavilion, and renovates 18,700 GSF of existing space in the CVM Main Building to replace outdated facilities lacking in vital units for critical care, sports medicine and research space. The new facilities will include in-patient and outpatient equine services, emergency services, orthopedics, surgery, ICU, an isolation building, an arena, and horse barns and will house all equine clinical teaching. Demolition of four support buildings (7,237 GSF) is included. The project will include work at the Central Utility Plant (CUP) and all associated utilities and infrastructure to support the needs of the program.
