Ammunition offered must perform in all brands of law enforcement weapons without requiring alterations or damaging such weapons. All rounds proposed for delivery must have a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) listing ALL components of the round submitted with the bid.
This is an Unrestricted procurement under NAICS code is 332992. The solicitation is scheduled for release on or about May 7, 2019 through this FBO website only (hardcopies will not be provided) and will be solicited using the Two-Step Sealed Bid method outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 14.503. Step 1 will consist of technical proposal submission due on or about June 7, 2019; Step 2 will be pricing submission for those bids from Step 1 determined to be Acceptable. No pricing information should be included in any portion of the Step 1 submission.
The Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC), Glynco, Georgia anticipates awarding multiple indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) firm fixed price (FFP) contracts. Resultant contracts will be available for ordering from the following: FLETC sites (Glynco, GA, Artesia, NM, Cheltenham, MD and Charleston, SC), other Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agencies, and all other Federal Agencies.
The Government guarantees a minimum of 1,000 rounds per year on each resultant contract. Contracts will be for a base year (12 months) and four (4) 12-month option periods (if awarded). All pricing shall be FOB DESTINATION. All bidders must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for any award. Bidders may obtain information on registration at https://www.sam.gov. Lack of registration in SAM will make a bidder ineligible for award.
