The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Program Support Center (PSC), Acquisition Management Services (AMS) intends to sole source to Comcast of Potomac for a Cable TV Subscription from April 01, 2016 - March 31, 2017 for 21 facilities in Rockville, MD with four 12 month option periods.
Comcast of Potomac (Montgomery County) has been the cable television provider at the 5600 Fishers Lane Building in Rockville, MD for over 30 years. The cable infrastructure was recently redesigned and installed for the building modernization project by Comcast sub- contractors. This new system is integrated with their new equipment and most likely not compatible with other service provider's current technologies. The cable infrastructure is so well established throughout the building that changing or removing its connectivity would result in a lengthy disruption of service. The Government tenants rely on this service 24/7/365 for the necessary and immediate transmission of local and national emergency notifications, congressional hearings, news, weather, and information critical to all of the Department of Health and Human Services Agencies within the building.

All responsible sources that have determined that they can provide the same services may submit product information and a capabilities statement addressing their specific abilities regarding this requirement.
