The work includes furnishing all survey labor, tools, equipment and materials for building surveys and their exteriors at the U.S. Coast Guard Base, Mobile, Alabama. The Main Building 101 (built circa 1945 with approximately 56,000 square feet) Bay #1 (buoy repair facility) consisting of 16,000 square feet requires a combustible dust survey for proposed new blast booth with new overhead monorail, new media recovery, new blast vessel, new electrical room, and new dust collectors among other items. Existing 16,000 foot area is currently used for blasting, welding, metal work, and painting. Survey shall be in accordance with the latest edition of NFPA 652 Standard on the Fundamentals of Combustible Dust 2016 Edition and NFPA 654 Standard for the Prevention of Fire and Dust Explosions from the Manufacturing, processing, and Handling of Combustible Particulate Solids 2017 edition and NFPA 484 Standard for Combustible Metals 2015 Edition. The person performing the work shall be a "Qualified Person" as defined by NFPA 652 and provide written qualifications and experience to USCG prior to hire. The performance period will be 42 calendar days. The estimated price range of this procurement is less than $25,000. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) 2017 code is 541380. The small business size standard is a three-year average annual gross receipt of $15 million. The anticipated award date is 30 days after quotations are due.
