This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation on FedBizOpps (httP://www.fbo.gov). This procurement is issued on a sole source basis. The effort required by the government is to provide cable television/internet/digital music services to Fairchild Air Force Base in accordance with the Franchise Agreement dated 30 August 2001. It is not a request for competitive quote. The government intends to award on a sole source basis to Comcast of Spokane, LLC 15815 25th Avenue West, Lynwood, WA 98087. Funding for this requirement is not currently available; however, the government expects that funding will become available at the start of fiscal year 12 on 1 Oct 2011.
