NRO/AS&T/ATG plans an UNCLASSIFIED solicitation for design, documentation for later payload integration, build, test and qualification of a quantity of CubeSat buses in order to maximize competition and reduce unit cost. A conference will provide a forum for industry to hear directly the goals of the solicitation, provide feedback on the draft Statement of Work and desired vehicle capabilities, delivery schedule, total units desired, and cost goals. The solicitation is expected to be awarded 1QFY10 (based on current ATG funding) as a Firm Fixed Price contract and period of performance of 24 months, including options. All personnel working on this contract must be U.S. citizens. Foreign owned business entities are not eligible as prime or sub-contract work on this effort.
