SYNOPSIS FOR COCKPIT CONTROL DISPLAY UNIT, AVALEX TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION

The AFTC/PZIEA, Edwards AFB, California, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order for the purchase of Cockpit Control Display Unit (3ea) Part Number (P/N) ACP9543 from Avalex Technologies Corporation under the authority of 10 United States Code (USC) 2304(c)(1) and 41 USC 3304(f) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It is the Government's intent to proceed with this sole-source action. Anticipated award date is 30 June 17.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334515. Small Business size standard is: 750 Employees. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement.

AFTC has appointed an Ombudsman to hear concerns from potential offerors relating to this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
