The City of Cochran solicits the interest of qualified housing rehabilitation contractors to repair owner-occupied houses through the City's CHIP rehabilitation program. The houses will be owned by qualified low-to-moderate income homeowners who are part of the City's 2021 CHIP grant program. Up to six houses will be rehabilitated using CHIP funds. The housing improvements are for code improvements to help bring the substandard houses in conformance with building codes to the greatest degree possible. The CHIP Program is funded through the Ga. Department of Community Affairs. The City of Cochran encourages qualified carpenters or contractors to respond to the attached bid solicitation. The City of Cochran encourages the participation of MBE/WBE contractors.
