 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The 633D Contracting Squadron is seeking information on potential firms qualified to provide quotes on a future solicitation. The proposed award will be for a firm fixed-price reagent rental contract. The contract will include two STA Satellite Coagulation Analyzers (Brand Name or Equal), a primary/back-up along with reagents needed for the laboratory to provide support to health care providers and patients. Analyzers must use the reference methodology of "viscosity based mechanical clot detection" to avoid interfering substances. Vendor will provide on-site support for Method Validation, #1215 and annual lot conversion, #1217, and service coverage. Detection system must use fixed electro-mechanical detection with no moving parts. Analyzers must share identical technologies, and utilize the same reagents and disposables. Analyzers must be capable of PT, PTT, Fibrinogen, and D-dimer testing within the 633 MDG Hospital. Request PT, PTT, Fibrinogen, and D-dimer only require one calibration per lot number and must have calibration stability for the entire length of the lot number. Analyzer should have no start-ups, no-shut down, no manual priming and no daily maintenance-must be ready 24/7. Instrument must have integrated Barcode reader for Reagents and Patient Samples. Instrument must have an integrated Double Resolution Dilutor designed to last the entire life of the instrument which requires no maintenance or additional costs such as syringes, etc. Instrument must have an integrated LED light source for D-Dimer testing designed to last the entire life of the instrument which requires no maintenance or additional costs such as light bulbs, etc. Due to laboratory space limitations, the analyzer must be no wider than 21.1 inches.
