Synopsis:
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This solicitation, #AG-569R-S-13-0006, is issued as an RFQ (Request for Quotations) and the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular No. 2005-65.

This requirement is for the United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service.

This is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 115112, Soil Preparation, Planting, and Cultivating and the Small Business Size Standard is $7 million.

The intent of this contract is to use an approved herbicide to control roadside infestation of two species of invasive plants on multiple locations in Bayfield County, WI. Acres are the unit of measure for this contract and the quantities are estimated. (See below chart and attached solicitation document for more details).

4) Technical proposal addressing the evaluation criteria.

If an offerors quote does not contain all of the items listed above, the quote may be considered incomplete for evaluation purposes and no further consideration will be given to the quote, thereby making an offeror ineligible for award.
