This is notice that Naval Special Warfare Group Two, JEB Little Creek, Virginia Beach, VA intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract to BATTELLE MEMORIAL INSTITUTE, 505 KING AVENUE, COLUMBUS, OH for 30 ea - Tactical Caving Ladders Mfr p# 4851-35; 13 ea - 3 Prong 60 Degree Titanium Hook Mfr p# 7-02-TIG2560A; 15 ea - 30' Carbon Fiber MBP Mfr p# Tri-MBP; 15 ea - Common Tip Interface Mfr p# 360110; and 20 ea - Carbon Fiber Shepherd Hook Mfr p# 3276. These products are needed to maintain the current form, fit, and function characteristics of existing equipment currently being used.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to support this requirement by 12:00 p.m., 13 February 2012 by email to [email protected]. A determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
