This contract provides for the equipment rental, labor, materials, and services to perform work ordered by the Government for the fabrication and construction of metal pipe barriers and removable (swing-gates) gates on the Cleveland National Forest in compliance with its terms, specifications and provisions. The purpose of this contract is to minimize the impacts to our natural resources by blocking unauthorized vehicle access within previously disturbed areas. This will be accomplished by constructing barriers and gates at critical access points on the Descanso and Palomar Ranger Districts. Eventually, these areas will be restored to their natural condition.
