This is an Intent to Sole Source to the City of Clemson for transit bus services for the value of $804,031. Clemson University requires additional CATBUS transit services across the University. There is a contract between the City of Clemson and the University for this service. The City is the only entity able to supply a mass transit service to the main campus from the local surrounding areas. There are no other resources able to provide this service as part fo the local transmit system for the University and thus, this is a sole source procurement. Bidder’s right to protest as listed in Section 11-35-4210 in the South Carolina Consolidated Procurement Code applies to this announcement of an emergency procurement.
