Overview The Iowa DOT is seeking qualified bidders to provide clean up services of unauthorized encampment areas on state owned right of ways (ROW). Contract Award It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Execution of Contract: The contract will be awarded as an on-call contract with work to be performed on an as-needed basis. The Contractor will be awarded a one (1) year contract with an option to renew for five (5) additional years in twelve (12) month increments. Payment: Work shall be performed with payment tied to time and material per site. With invoice, contractor shall provide documentation of employee hours, approved sub-consultant costs, equipment and materials cost and disposal costs. Any applicable manifests shall also be provided with invoices.
