The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to CLC BIO, LLC, 10 Rogers Street, #101, Cambridge, MA 02142, for a quantity of five (5) CLC Genomics Workbench and Network license; one (1) CLC Genomics Server (1 master + 1 node); ten (10) +1 job node for CLC Genomics Server; and CLC Genomics Server, and on-site initial installation service. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy the Agency's requirements because it is unique in providing these items/services in one integrated software environment. No solicitation is being issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which, if received by the response date, shall be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.
