The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to CLC Bio, 245 First Street, Suite 1826, Cambridge, MA  02142, for the following line items: 1) Catalog #01-0151, CLC Main Workbench, Network License, Academic Discount 50%; and 2) Catalog #01-063, CLC Genomics Workbench, Network Licences, Academic Discount 50%.   This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR A COMMERCIAL ITEM PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE SOLICITATION; A SEPERATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy the Agency's requirements. No solicitation is being issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which, if received by the response date, shall be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
