CITY OF COTTAGE GROVE CLARIFIER MECHANISM Bids due 2:00 pm, March 22, 2022 INVITATION TO BID Pursuant to ORS 279B.055 and City of Cottage Grove (City) Public Contracting Rule (Rule) 137-047-0255, City will receive sealed bids no later than 2:00 P.M. March 22, 2022 for a Clarifier Mech anism, including arms and column (Equipment). Sealed bids shall be submitted to City Engineer Ryan Sisson at Cottage Grove City Hall, 400 E. Main Street, Cottage Grove, OR 97424, and will not be accepted after the bid closing date and time. Bid opening is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on March 22, 2022 at the above City Hall address. The successful bidder will provide Equipment that shall be pre-purchased for installation by others within an existing circular secondary clarifier tank at the City of Cottage, Oregon Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The existing Secondary Clarifier No. 1 is a center feed, peripheral overflow design with an outboard concrete launder and center sludge hopper configuration. The Equip ment shall be designed for gravity sepa ration of mixed liquor solids from the acti vated sludge process and shall be speci fically designed for installation within the existing Secondary Clarifier No. 1 and existing conditions. Equipment shall be furnished complete with all mechanical and electrical components and accessories required for proper installation and operation, including complete drive units and controls, and any additional materials or construction required by the manufacturer to meet the requirements of the pre-purchase package. The supplier shall furnish a system that is fully coordinated and oper ating properly. All items required for a complete and properly operating system shall be provided, whether specifically called for or not.
