The contractor will receive a bi-weekly list of eligible employees to receive MSC-funded safety shoes. The contractor will bring a variety of safety shoes to the orientation session, currently held at Camp Pendleton, Virginia Beach, Virginia (MSFSC will be moving to Naval Operations Base in Norfolk, VA in the late summer of 2008). All shoes must be in compliance with the ANSI Z41-1991 Standard. MSFSC expects to hire over 700 new hires each fiscal year, with approximately 25-50 new hires during each New Employee Orientation session, which is held every two weeks. Delivery dates are tentatively scheduled for the following dates in 2008: October 2, 16, 30; November 13 and 27; December 11 and 25; In 2009: January 8 and 22; February 5 and 19; March 6 and 20; April 3 and 17; May 1, 15, and 29; June 12, and 26; July 10 and 24; August 7 and 21; September 4 and 18 At the conclusion of the mobile distribution of work shoe session of Orientation, the contractor will provide MSFSC with the copies of the receipts for every purchase. The contractor will tally all purchases and will invoice MSFSC on one line item: Actual Itemized Invoices. The contractor will provide MSFSC with a quarterly report of all inventory purchased to date. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: This Boot Mobile Contract is valid from 01 October 2008 through 30 September 2009 with four one-year options. All responsible sources are invited to submit proposals, which will be considered by the agency.
