INVITATION TO BID NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Yakima, 129 North 2nd Street, Yakima, Washington, 98901 until 2:00 pm on May 5, 2023 for the construction of City of Yakima Lower Cowiche Creek Trail City of Yakima Project No. 2430 State Aid No. HLP-1485(024) This Contract provides for the construction of a multi-use pathway, including a pedestrian bridge over Cowiche Creek, and other work, all to be constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory contract bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Yakima.
