INVITATION TO BID ITB #65744 FOR ROLL-OFF SYSTEM AT THE LANDFILL Safford, Arizona The City of Safford (City) is inviting Bids from Contractors for construction of a retention wall at the Safford Landfill (Landfill) that the public will use as a transfer station for solid waste. This will include up to 152 linear feet of a 10-foot vertical retention wall and approximately 40-feet of a transition wing wall. The Work is expected to be substantially complete in 120 days. Additional time may be permitted as needed for longer-than-normal material lead times. Contractors intending to Bid shall register with Andi as plan holders. Addenda issued during the Bidding process will be posted to the City’s website and emailed to plan holders. A non-mandatory pre-Bid conference for this Project will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the City’s MYOC office located at 405 W. Discovery Park Blvd., Safford, AZ, 85546, with a Site visit afterwards at the Landfill. Remote attendance for the meeting at MYOC will be arranged at Bidder’s advance request. Interested Bidders are to deliver or send Bids so they are received by 2:00 PM, local time, Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the City Clerk’s office in City Hall; 717 W. Main St., Safford, AZ 85546, and at that time on that day, the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The ITB number, Bidder’s name and address, the words “BID ENCLOSED”, and deadline date and time shall appear on the outermost sealed packaging. Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total maximum Bid price for the Contract. Refer to the Bid package for further requirements. The City reserves the right to hold any or all Bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of opening, during which time, Bidders will not be allowed to withdraw their Bids.
