NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Omak will open sealed bid proposals and publicly read them aloud on or after 2:00 p.m., on November 10, 2022, at City Hall in Omak for the Omak Airport Water Reservoir project. The project generally consists of: Base Bid:. Construction of a 300,000 gallon composite and steel elevated reservoir with associated waterline and site work. Additive Alternate 1: HMA paving of the access road. Digital copies of the Bidding Documents, including addenda, may be obtained from QuestCDN at www.questcdn.com upon payment of fifteen dollars ($15.00). Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Bids will only be accepted from registered planholders who have purchased a set of Plans and Contract Documents through QuestCDN. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held online on October 25, 2022. at 11:00 a.m. for those interested contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Sealed bid proposals must be delivered to the City of Omak (2 North Ash St. Omak, WA 98841) by 2:00 p.m. on the date specified for opening, in a sealed envelope clearly marked “SEALED BID THE OMAK AIRPORT WATER RESERVOIR”. In person acceptance of delivered bids will be available at City Hall hours. SEALED BID PROPOSALS MUST BE DELIVERED BEFORE 2:00 P.M. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, money order or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Only properly executed proposals submitted on the forms furnished by the City of Omak will be accepted. All bidders are required to submit a list of subcontractors that will perform work on the project amounting to ten percent (10%) or more of the contract amount. Rejection of Bids: The City of Omak reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive any informalities, or irregularities and accept the proposal that is in the best interest of the City. The award of the Bid is contingent upon available funding. Bidders are notified that all bids are likely to be rejected if the lowest responsive bid exceeds available funding limits. In the event all bids are rejected for this reason, this project may be deferred for re-advertising for bids until a more competitive situation exists.
