REQUEST FOR BIDS PIPE REHABILITATION CITY OF KENNESAW The City of Kennesaw is accepting sealed bids at the City Clerk’s Office, 2529 J.O. Stephenson Avenue, Kennesaw, GA 30144 until 3:00 PM EDT on Friday, November 19, 2021 for the rehabilitation of drainage pipes. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:00 PM EDT on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Public Works, 3080 Moon Station Road, Kennesaw, GA to discuss the project. Copies of the bid document may be attained by contacting the Deputy City Clerk at [email protected]. One original and two copies of the Bid Submittal Package shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked with bidder’s name, address, and “2021 Pipe Rehabilitation” on the outside of the envelope to the City Clerk’s Office, 2529 J.O. Stephenson Avenue, Kennesaw, Georgia, before 3:00 PM EDT, November 19, 2021, at which time all Bids will be publicly opened in the City Hall Training Room; same address as City Clerk’s Office. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check or acceptable Bid Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the bid made payable to the City of Kennesaw. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a contract performance bond equal to 100% of the contract price and a payment bond equal to 110% of the contract price, with the terms and surety to be approved by the City of Kennesaw; and furnish satisfactory proof of carriage of the insurance required. It is agreed the unit quantities shown in the specifications are approximate only and this bid is based on a lump sum price. The City of Kennesaw reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The City also reserves the right to waive any informalities or technicalities relative to any or all bids or proposals and to request any additional information or clarification deemed necessary for evaluation.
