The City of Cumming is requesting Proposals for the construction of the following Project: CUMMING REBEL ROAD WATER LINE Proposals for the construction of the Project will be received at Cumming City Hall located at 100 Main St., Cumming, GA 30040, until June 24, 2020 at 11:30am local time. At that time, Proposals received will be privately opened, evaluated and scored. Project includes the following: Furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment to install approximately 2,000 LF of 8-Inch DIP Water Line and all appurtenances necessary for the completion of the work. The Project has an expected duration of 120 days. Obtaining the Proposal Documents All PROPOSAL DOCUMENTS may be downloaded at cecincga.com under the Bid Information tab. Upon payment of $150 (non-refundable), Contractor shall be placed on Plan Holders list and be eligible to submit a proposal on the project. Hard copies of the Contract Documents will not be available. Questions should be directed to Stephanie Dean in writing at [email protected]. Last day for submission of questions shall be Wednesday, June 17, 2020. Checks should be mailed to Civil Engineering Consultants at 4994 Lower Roswell Road, Ste 17, Marietta, GA 30068. The successful Proposer for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER and listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, each in the amount of 100% of the Proposal. An Irrevocable Letter of Credit from a local, Forsyth County bank is acceptable in lieu of Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond.
