The City of Boca Raton is accepting proposals from qualified carriers licensed to conduct business in the State of Florida to offer health insurance coverage to the City’s staff. The City of Boca Raton has been insured for medical coverage through Florida Blue since October 2013. The current plans are self-funded. The City requires a Third-Party Health Plan Administrator (“TPA”) and the Pharmacy Benefit Manager (“PBM”) bidders to be a single-provider, carrier based managed care organization that includes a proprietary network of providers and has the capability to integrate all data and the administration related to claims, eligibility, disease management and wellness programs pursuant to the RFP.
