Cisco WS-C3750X-24T-E Switches meets all form fit and function requirements for the Fire Scout UAV Ground Control System, and is the only Ethernet Switch certified to operate within that system.

This is not an invitation for competitive proposals. This acquisition is being pursued on a Name Brand/Part Number basis under the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, Simplified acquisition procedures (Test Program for Certain Commercial Items). The Government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.

This is advance notice that the Government intends to issue an RFP on N68335-15-R-0627 and post it on www.FedBid.com under Buy # 731060. This should occur on or about July 28, 2015. The Government is conducting an online competitive reverse auction, which is being facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc.
