This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The items requested herein are brand name items, Justification & Approval is attached hereto. The proposed procurement is for brand name Cisco Satellite Receiver Decoders in support of the Armed Forces Radio and Television Service (AFRTS). Provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 effective 4 Aug 2011 and DFARS Change Notice 20110819.

(b) Note that para (k) requires quoter to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at time order is issued and throughout performance.

(2) FAR 52.212-2 (Evaluation - Commercial Items) (JAN 1999) with the following insertion in para (a) "lowest priced technically acceptable with acceptable past performance." Technical evaluation will be whether quoted items satisfy all requirements for CLINS 0001-0002 as described below.
