The work to be performed is located in the Nearshore Region adjacent to the shoreline of the Gulf of Mexico approximately 8.0-miles east of the mouth of FreshwaterBayou Canal in Southeastern Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. The work consists of constructing two (2) new breakwaters. Breakwater "A" is to be approximately 1,250-feet long and 13-feet wide and constructed with pre-cast coastal haven wave attenuation devices (WADs) on a Geo-Grid composite underlayer. Breakwater "B" is to be approximately 1,250-feet long and 12-feet wide and constructed with pre-cast Oysterbreak Armor Units on a woven Geo-Textile fabric underlayer. The work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications and in conformity to lines, grades, and elevation shown in the plans or as directed by the engineer.
