The City is seeking quotations from qualified analytical laboratories for conducting Whole Effluent Chronic and Acute Toxicity tests on our Final Effluent using Pimephales promelas (Fathead minnow). Routine testing, according to our NPDES permit #CA0037834 consists of one event a month. Accelerated monitoring will be required along with TRE and possibly TIE analysis if a toxic unit limit is triggered. We are looking for a laboratory that can provide excellent quality data, along with exceptional consulting services. The consulting services will include any guidance for interpretation of our reports, possible TRE/TIE analysis and future TST policy issues.
