Item 1: 2 each of the Chopper Spotter, MS, Jet Ranger,110v. Specs: 9000lb capacity, 1hp DC PM Motor, Standard APU cord, 4 lead acid deep cycle batteries, 24 v. 10 amp battery charger, super heavy duty dual swival wheels, 5" x 8" drive wheel, and manual override for down hydraulics. 

Item 2: 2 each of the APU power cords.

Item 3: Handheld Controller. Specs: The hand-held control regulates speed, direction, and raises and lowers the aircraft.  The electronic controls offer dynamic braking.

Item 4: Groove Drive Wheel:  Drive Wheel will provide good traction; improve traction in snowy and icy conditions. The single drive wheel needs only a narrow band of clear pavement for traction.

 USSOCOM intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price purchase order to J B Knowles, a small business operating in Blue River, WI.  Shipments will be FOB Origin to Ft. Campbell, KY.  Inspection and Acceptance will be at Origin.  The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authrity 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy anency requirements).  The Government does not possess and cannot furnish the technical data required to develop engineering descriptions, tecnnical data packages, or specifications necessary to permit full and open competition.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered.  The North American Industrial Classification Code is 336413.  The point of contact for this effort is Ms. Heather Linzy, Contracting Specialist at 757-878-3299*249 ([email protected])
