This announcement is for informational purposes only. The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis to Chiliad Publishing, Inc. (Chiliad), 44 Belchertown Road, Amherst, MA, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for Chiliad Search software maintenance. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-30. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541511 and the business size standard is $23 million. A quote is being solicited under Solicitation No. 882247. This will be a fixed price contract. Chiliad developed the Discovery Athena and Hera version, which currently requires licensing and support. Based on FBI market research, it has been determined that Chiliad is the only source available to meet the FBI’s requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
