This is a Sources Sought notice to support the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) Office of Forensic Sciences.  The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to gather information regarding the management and destruction of controlled substance, hazardous waste, medical waste, and solid waste throughout the United States.
 
This announcement is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), but a survey to locate potential sources capable of performing the work described below. It is anticipated that a contractor will be required for an effort to properly incinerate controlled substance, hazardous waste, non-Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA) hazardous waste, non-hazardous waste, medical waste, and/or solid waste that renders the waste unusable and unrecoverable.
