The project, solicitation and resultant contract will include 2 schedules as follows: SCHEDULE A will consist of FSR 1227-MP0.87 and SCHEDULE B will consist of FSR 86&153. The intent is to award a single contract that includes both schedules.

SCHEDULE A - The project consists of removal & disposal of existing geoweb material at the low water crossing, followed by road & drainage excavation site prep for new low water crossing foundation. Installation of new pre-cast structural concrete planks for the new low water crossing. Roadway Reconditioning of road areas before & after the new low water crossing. Any needed erosion & sediment control measures, clearing & disposal of slash/wood debris from roadway, haul & placement of all surface aggregate course material, seeding of disturbed areas, safety & temporary traffic control measures required for reconstruction operations.

SCHEDULE B - The project consists of all designated road & drainage excavation areas, embankment reconstruction & repairs, including any specified linear grading road areas by approved contract methods. Installation of new 24-inch galvanized steel culvert for road ditch relief. Any needed erosion & sediment control measures, clearing & disposal of slash/wood debris from roadway, haul & placement of all riprap rock, haul & placement of all base & surface aggregate courses, seeding of disturbed areas, safety & temporary traffic control measures required for reconstruction operations.

Per FAR 36.204 the magnitude of the entire contract is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 with each FSR range being:

  FSR 1227 between $40,000.00 and $70,000.00.

  FSR 153 less than $25,000.00

  FSR 86 less than $40,000.00

Solicitation documents should be issued on or about June 20, 2018. Quote due date and location will be specified on the SF 1442, Block 13a of the Solicitation.

A bid bond is NOT required. Acceptable payment protection within consisting of Payment Bond OR Irrevocable Letter of Credit will be required prior to Notice to Proceed or being allowed to start work.

Annual Representations and Certifications FAR 52.204-8 (Jan 2018). The Representations and Certifications must be filled-in online at http://sam.gov/.

The required Annual Form Vets-4212 must also be filled-in online at http://www.dol.gov/vets/vets4212.htm per FAR 52.222-37.

IMPORTANT PAYMENT REQUIREMENT
