Sealed Proposals for Texas Tech University ("TTU") 2021-1007 Chatbot Software for STRIVE will be received electronically at the site listed below until 1:00 PM Central, Friday, August 13, 2021. Electronic submission is the mandatory submittal method. Responses received after the opening time and date will be rejected as non-responsive. Answers to all respondent questions that are deemed not answered in the proposal specifications will be answered in the form of addenda posted in TechBid and Electronic State Business Daily (“ESBD”) Texas Marketplace websites. TechBid: https://bids.sciquest.com/apps/Router/PublicEvent?CustomerOrg=TexasTech TechBid is the electronic bidding system that Texas Tech University utilizes for solicitation management. Solicitation documents may be obtained on the TechBid site. Respondents are strongly encouraged to log in and register so that they may respond to this and all future solicitations released by TTU. Respondents must register at this site in order to receive notice of solicitation addenda and updated information. The respondent will be responsible for checking for updates on the ESBD website. TTU reserves the right to reject any or all solicitation responses and to waive any or all formalities. Texas Tech University Student Success and Retention area has determined a mission critical need to provide Chatbot assistance services (“Services”) compatible with the STRIVE platform (Currently using EAB Starfish, but this could change pursuant to another solicitation this fall), as well as similar student success and retention products in the marketplace. The objective of the Chatbot is to provide contextual assistance to students, faculty, and staff in the STRIVE system, providing quality assistance, while relieving overcommitted staff resources. Our STRIVE service at Texas Tech University is behind our campus account management system, eRaider. As such, only authenticated STRIVE users will encounter the Chatbot in our present planning relevant to this solicitation.
