DESCRIPTION:The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to Thermo Electron North America in West Palm Beach, FL for CH4 and N2O Trace Gas Pre-concertration device ("PreCon") 1 each to be delivered 12201 Sunrise Valley Dr, Reston, VA 20192 by 07/30/2010. There will be no option periods. Thermo Electron North America is the only known source for this requirement because they design and manufacturers its own automated trace gas inlet system equipment and is the only vendor that can offer parts that are fully compatible the the mass spectrometers, inlet systems, and software currently be used. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
