The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, NJ, intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Davis Aircraft Products, Bohemia, NY, for the fabrication of four (4) each Main Rotor Cart Adapter, CH-53K (Part Number: FDA12940M3; NSN: 4920-01-628-5756) and two (2) each Blade Clamp Assembly, Lifting Clamp CH-53K (Part Number: FDC8252-15; NSN: 1730-01-628-5758). Davis Aircraft Products is the Original Equipment Manufacturer for the above articles and the Government does not own the technical data to permit full and open competition.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
