The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking Interested Vendors with successful past performance, current relevant experience, personnel, equipment, capability and bonding capacity to perform Firing Range Repairs at USCG DET Sandy Hook, Highlands, NJ. Work includes: disposing of an existing rubber-filled bullet trap; concrete, structural steel, steel fabrication; rough carpentry, EPDM roofing; lighting, wiring; and, installation of a manufactured steel bullet trap. The construction site is surrounded by earth berms in a courtyard open to the weather. Berms are approximately 35 ft wide x 20 ft high (highest point). The contract requires logistics and planning for moving equipment and materials through an existing access tunnel that is 7 ft-6 in wide x 7 ft -8 in high. An area to the west of the site is flat and offers a site to set up lifting equipment to reach over the berms.
