The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of BIDS. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the City Engineer. This Ceramic Studio Kiln Installation (P-937) CIP project will install a new kiln (by others) adjacent to existing two kilns in outside area of the Parks and Recreation Ceramic Studios building located in Live Oak Park. Work includes constructing a new shading structure with equipment pad for ceramics kiln and relevant electrical and gas hookups, constructing new fences and gates for security, and demolishing existing fence and concrete slab on grade. Note majority of the concrete slab on grade work is for ADA path of travel to the kiln. Contractor to be aware of the high pedestrian traffic at Live Oak Park due to the numerous Parks and Recreation programs (i.e. tennis, ceramic studio, softball, etc.) and take into account phasing measures, coordination with Public Works and Parks Recreation Departments and placement of proper safety measures at construction site.
