Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-14-T-0563.  Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72. This acquisition is Unrestricted.  This NAICS Code is 327999 and the associated Size standard is 500.

NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: 400 Ceramic Electrolyte Membranes, Lithium Ion Conducting-Glass Ceramic (LIC-GC).  Required delivery is CLIN 0001 for 400 units with required delivery as follows: 100 units at 8 weeks after date of contract (ADC), 100 units at 12 weeks ADC, 100 units at 16 weeks ADC and 100 units at 20 weeks ADC, CLIN 0002 for shipping F.O.B. Destination, Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI 02841-1716. The Government expects to place a purchase order with Ohara Corporation. Ohara is the only known source for these items as Ohara is the only source that can meet all of the Government's salient characteristics.  Ohara also uses patented ceramic electrode technology to manufacture the required items.
