The FCC intends to purchase a sole source subscription with Centris, Inc. for Centris DataBridge online Database. The proposed effort will provide the FCC's Media Bureau with access to its database that provides cable, DBS, and Internet access penetration in a wide variety of geographic divisions, down to the zip code level. The period of performance for this effort is one base year beginning July 09, 2012 through July 08, 2013, with an additional one year option period through July 08, 2014.

This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. The authority for negotiating a sole source bases is made under 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1) and FAR 13.106-1 which permits soliciting from a single source, if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 519130. Any challenges to this sole source requirement must be received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this synopsis in writing and sent to [email protected] to be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete the requirement. Challenges must include information sufficient to enable the Government's needs as stated herein. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The anticipated award date is no later than July 09, 2012.
