The Imaging instrument will be used in support of ongoing research at the Vaccine Research Center (VRC) for vaccine development. The essential method for vaccine development is cell and viral infectivity imaging of invitro models to assess the efficacy of a given vaccine candidate. The high-content imaging required is provided by the Celigo Imaging Cytometer. Place of delivery is 40 Convent Drive, Bethesda, MD 20892.
The statutory authority for this sole source requirement is 41 U.S.C.1901 (e) (2) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1 only one responsible source and no other supply of service will satisfy agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
