Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Charleston intends to award a sole source modification to contract N64236-99-D-6808 with AMSEC LLC, Virginia Beach VA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This modification will be issued pursuant to FAR 6-302-1, as the current contractor is the only known source available to satisfy the combination of on-going service requirements while meeting critical deadlines for on-going tasks. The proposed ceiling increase of approximately $7,611,000 and extension of the period of performance through 30 Dec 2003 will allow sufficient time for award of a competitive, follow-on contract.
