CITY OF KALAMACEDAR STREET AND 10TH STREET SIDEWALK AND 10TH STREET AND DATE STREET SIDEWALK Bids Due 11:00 am, April 17, 2023 CALL FOR BIDSSealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Kalama, 195 North First Street, Kalama, Washington 98625, up to 11:00 a.m.; local time on Monday, April 17, 2023, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the Cedar Street and 10th Street Sidewalk and 10th Street and Date Street Sidewalk. This contract provides for the construction of new ADA compliant sidewalk along Cedar Street from 10th Street, west approximately 400 linear feet and along 10th Street from Cedar Street, south approximately 200 linear feet. It also includes sidewalk along 10th Street from Cedar Street, north approximately 320 linear feet, and along Date Street from 8th Street to 9th Street. Improvements include, but are not limited to, excavation, grading, cement concrete curb and gutter, cement concrete sidewalk, storm drainage improvements, minor asphalt paving, channelization, traffic control and other related work items. The Work shall be substantially complete within 45 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Kalama, Washington. The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the "City of Kalama" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount.
