To establish a contract with an entity to conduct an assessment of Vermont resources and programs that safely and effectively support children with specialized needs in childcare. The assessment should also include a review of how other states are supporting children with specialized needs in childcare, offer recommendations of other effective supports Vermont could potentially implement in the future, and propose data indicators/performance measures VT could collect to evaluate current resources and programs.
