The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Bowling Green State University. This project is to evaluate the usability of the age-friendly workplace assessment tool and resource in manufacturing workplaces. This includes evaluating: ease of completing the assessment, clarity in user’s understanding the results of the assessment, and anticipated usefulness of the resources that accompany the assessment for maintaining or improving workers’ functioning and health as they age. Upon completion of this project, it is anticipated the age-friendly workplace assessment tool, and resources will be publicly available on National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) websites (e.g., National Center for Productive Aging and Work (NCPAW), Manufacturing Sector Council) for managers and decision makers in the manufacturing sector to use to assess their workplace and learn more about strategies to consider for supporting their workers as they age.
This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within the date stated on this website will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
