The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for hardware and software to effectively maintain/track continuing education units.  The service provided by CBT Nuggets, LLC will be to provide the rack mount learning server, maintenance plan, and learning server licenses.   The NAICS code is 541519 and the business size is 150.

The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a sole-source basis to CBT Nuggets, LLC.  The proposed action is for services to provide a rack mount learning server, maintenance plan, and learning server licenses, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii).  The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: CBT Nuggets, LLC is the only IT training solution that encompasses the entire suite of software products while providing the ability to train on iOS operating system platforms and providing concurrent user licensing options.  The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order to CBT Nuggets, LLC using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.       

Interested parties may identify their interest to this requirement by submitting a capabilities statement no later than 01 September 2017.  This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.  However, all responses received by 09/01/2017, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
