Brand Name or Equal: Cone Beam Computer Tomography (CBCT) machine for VA Dental Clinic
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking quotations for the procurement of a Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) machine, either brand-name or equal, to enhance its diagnostic imaging capabilities. This acquisition aims to support precise diagnostic procedures, offering VA dental clinicians high-resolution, Panoramic Imaging (2D), Cone Beam CTs (3D), and Cephalometric Imaging to improve patient care.
The VA is open to receiving quotations for the brand-name products or equivalent products that meet or exceed the specified requirements. All offerors submitting an "equal" product must clearly describe how their offering matches the specific characteristics and standards described in the RFQ document.
All offerors must provide a Letter of Authorization from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) confirming the offeror’s status as an authorized reseller, distributor, or partner of the CBCT machine being proposed. This letter should be on the OEM’s official letterhead and confirm that the offeror is authorized to sell, support, and provide warranty services for the equipment.
Important Note: Any quotation that does not include a valid Letter of Authorization will be automatically eliminated from consideration. This requirement ensures that all equipment offered is genuine, and that the VA will receive appropriate support and service.
Interested offerors should submit their quotations by June 13th, 2025 at 16:30 hours (4:30 pm) to Contract Specialist, Nathan Lohr, at [email protected]. Quotations must include a detailed description of the product, technical specifications, delivery timeframe, compliance with the outlined requirements, and pricing. Additionally, offerors providing "equal" products must include documentation demonstrating equivalency to the brand-name items mentioned.
The VA looks forward to receiving your quotation and appreciates your interest in partnering to enhance our medical imaging capabilities.
