The 22d Contracting Squadron, McConnell AFB, KS, 67221, intends to award a negotiated firm fixed price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis to the Catholic Diocese of Wichita for a Catholic Priest Services contract, which will minister to the needs of the Catholic community of McConnell AFB. All Catholic Priests must be attached to either a Religious Order or Catholic Diocese. The Catholic Diocese of Wichita encompasses the southeast quarter of the State of Kansas. All priests that serve in the area, do so with the permission of and under the direction of the Bishop of the Diocese of Wichita. This purchase will be procured using FAR 6.302-1 and 10 USC 2304 (c)(1).
This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by 1:00 pm CST, 17 July 2010 via email or fax at (316) 759-1411. A determination by the Government not to compete the service based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel the Sole Source award. The cancellation notice will be posted on FedBizOps. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the government.
