NOTICE TO BIDDERS TOWN OF NORTHLAKE CATHERINE BRANCH, WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT Notice is hereby given that the Town of Northlake is now calling for bids for construction of the CATHERINE BRANCH, WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked “SEALED BID – CATHERINE BRANCH, WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT” and returned to the Town of Northlake, 1500 Commons Circle, Suite 300, Northlake, Texas 76226-1598, prior to 2:00 PM, CDST, Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Town of Northlake reserves the right to reject any or all bids received. The Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined or obtained on-line by visiting the Town Northlake’s Purchasing website at http://www.town.northlake.tx.us/Bids.aspx and clicking on the link to the advertised project. The Contract Documents may be downloaded, viewed and printed by interested contractors and/or suppliers. Copies of the Bidding and Contract Documents may be purchased from Halff Associates, Inc. at 4000 Fossil Creek Boulevard, Fort Worth, Texas 76137. The cost of the Bidding and Contract Documents is $50.00 per half-size set. The cost of Contract Documents is not refunded. Submit check, cashier check or money order for payment. Cash will not be accepted. A non-mandatory prebid meeting for the project will be held at the Town of Northlake, 1500 Commons Circle, Suite 300, Northlake, Texas 76226-1598 at 10:00 AM, CDST, Tuesday, May 10, 2022. This project includes: construction of a proposed wastewater treatment plant and lift station at the Catherine Branch site. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their proposal as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the Owner within fifteen (15) days of Notice of Award of the contract. The security must be payable to Town of Northlake in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid submitted. Contractor must execute the contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Contractors for this Project must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area established by the Owner and included in the contract documents. Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds are required. The Town of Northlake reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all bids, and/or waive formalities.
