THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order under FAR Part 13.106-1(b). The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), 500 12th Street, Washington, DC 20536 requires catering services for the FY2010 ICE Leadership Conference and Awards Ceremony. This effort will cover a period of performance of June 21, 2010 through June 25, 2010. ICE intends to make an award to Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center (Gaylord) located at 201 Waterfront Street, National Harbor, MD, 20745. The Gaylord does not authorize outside catering companies or contract food companies to prepare or provide food for conferences held within their facilities. Any interested vendors that believe they can satisfy this requirement, may submit their capabilities, qualifications and product literature fully supporting that their product meets all of the specifications contained herein by e-mail to Carolyn Mosinski at [email protected] no later than 10:00 a.m. on June 17, 2010. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
